O Week is beginning!

On Monday we are launching into the start of campus at Macquarie University. This is a crucial time where we will be meeting many students at the campus and welcoming them to join Student Life. We will take surveys and see if students are interested in joining a Christian group or learning more about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Please be praying for us as we are preparing and training our students on following up the students who fill out surveys this week and jump into a busy week next week. We will be at Macquarie University from 9-3 Monday through Thursday or Friday trying to connect with students, especially freshman or first years.

Thanks for all your prayers. I am feeling a lot more settled as well and it is becoming to feel more home. :)

It is also the end of summer break and Semester 1 begins on Monday. I would love to ask for prayer that as we begin campus we can meet many students who are interested in learning more about Jesus.

Moved!!!

I have finally slept in my new house and love it! It has been great to move in and get everything set up! I will post pictures soon. :)

You can pray because I still have a lot of things to do before campus starts in two weeks time! Prayer that things would get sorted and I wouldn't forget to organize things. :)

Summer Project

Beginning tomorrow, we will be taking students from all over New South Wales on a summer project. This is a two week summer mission trip where they will build community and learn about sharing their faith. It will be a great time, but if you could pray for us that would be great. That we would all have open hearts and that people we talk to would also have open hearts to want to know more about Jesus.

Settling In

Moving countries is always exciting, but can be painful at moments. I feel like this week there were some painful moments of missing the states and family to trying to work out the new Australian system with taxes and purchasing cars.

It is all working out though and I have finally purchased a car which is very exciting. It was an amazing deal and God really provided. :)

Arrived!

I have safely arrived in Australia and it has been a crazy three weeks! I have found a place to live and a car to buy and have been able to see good friends. Thank you for praying for the journey and transition. God has been really helping me settle in well. :)

Sorry I have not written on here for a long time, I will begin to update it more frequently. :)
